Animate Projects Touring Programme at Animasivo 2012

Three of Animate Projects Touring Programmes will be screened as part of Animasivo Festival 2012 held in Mexico. Animate director Gary Thomas will be a special guest at the festival, and will be taking part in talks and discussions around experimental animation.

The programme Other Worlds, highlighting ways in which animation can invent or re-imagine worlds, will be screened at The Film House 15 May, The House of Cinema 18 May and at Poplar University Museum 16 and 18 May.

The Marking Time programme, a selection of short films that explore ways in which artists manipulate time will be screened at Poplar University Museum 16 and 18 May.

The Digitalis programme which explores our expectations of art and the “’digital’ and will be screened at Poplar University Museum 16 and 17 May and at The House of Cinema 18 May.

The 5th edition of Animasivo Festival runs from 14 – 20 May and focuses on experimental animation.
